Anet Benardete, MA, RCC, joins the team with an extensive background as a youth and adult psychotherapist. She has helped clients overcome different obstacles by promoting empowerment, self-awareness and resilience.
For the past 8 years, she has built collaborative relationships with clients, helping them identify and implement healthy coping skills.
Anet combines a wealth of different techniques to help connect deeper with clients on an intra-personal level, creating a safe and nurturing environment where she empowers clients to overcome challenging situations. She specializes in a combination of techniques based on a contemporary psychoanalytic background, and also offers brief psychotherapy, with a solution focused approach.
She holds a Masters in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Mexican Psychoanalytic Association and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (BCACC). In addition to education, she has a variety of hands on training within therapeutic and clinical settings for over 9 years. Her experience ranges from working as a School Counselor with a large international youth population to her private practice experience where she helped clients navigate through life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety and depression, and other difficulties.
