Fernanda Selayzin Souza, M.Ed., MCP, RCC is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Adler University and a Master’s in Education from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her approach to counselling is based on her many years of training in attachment-based and trauma-informed perspectives, as well as family systems. It is also based on her acute awareness of how biopsychosocial factors affect human well-being and functioning.
Fernanda has a very warm and genuine style and years of experience counselling clients from a variety of cultural and social backgrounds. She has successfully helped many of them get to where they wanted while moving through emotional pain, difficult relationships, grief, and often impairing distress. She has also taught extensively, including as a sessional instructor in the Faculty of Education at UBC.
