Canadian Armed Forces (CAF)
No Fear Counselling is committed to being a trusted and compassionate therapy service provider for Canadian veterans. Our mission is to help veterans overcome mental health challenges and achieve their full potential.
At No Fear Counselling, we understand the unique challenges that CAF members face, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, operational stress injuries, and other mental health issues. That’s why we provide specialized therapy services tailored to meet the needs of CAF members.
Our team of qualified therapists are passionate about helping CAF members, and we offer a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Our therapists work with CAF members to identify their specific needs and goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.
No Fear Counselling is proud to be an approved service provider for CAF members. This means that CAF members can access our therapy services through their CAF benefits, including the Canadian Armed Forces Member Assistance Program (CFMAP) and the Canadian Armed Forces Health Services (CAFHS).
Our therapists are knowledgeable about the CAF system and can help CAF members navigate the process of accessing these benefits. We believe that all CAF members should have access to high-quality mental health services, and we work hard to make sure that our services are accessible and affordable.
If you’re a current or former CAF member, you may be eligible for therapy services through CFMAP or CAFHS. The best way to find out is to contact your CAF benefits provider directly or speak with one of our therapists. We can help you determine if you’re eligible and guide you through the process of accessing benefits.
The length of therapy can vary depending on the individual and the nature of their mental health challenges. Some people may only need a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Our therapists work collaboratively with CAF members to determine the best course of treatment for their needs.
Yes, therapy at No Fear Counselling is confidential. We take privacy and confidentiality very seriously, and we adhere to the highest ethical standards. We only share information with third parties with the written consent of the client, except in situations where we are required by law to disclose information (e.g., if a client is at risk of harm to themselves or others).
We understand that reaching out for help can be difficult, and that’s why we strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential environment for CAF members to receive the support they need. Our therapists are committed to providing high-quality care and working collaboratively with CAF members to achieve their goals.
