IFHP

No Fear Counselling provides individualized therapy services for people covered by the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP). Our mission is to provide mental health support to refugees, asylum seekers, and other individuals in Canada who are covered by IFHP.

Services

At No Fear Counselling, we understand that individuals covered by IFHP face unique challenges when it comes to accessing mental health support. That’s why we provide specialized therapy services tailored to meet their needs. Our team of qualified therapists are passionate about helping individuals navigate the complex emotions and stressors associated with migration and resettlement.

We offer a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Our therapists work collaboratively with clients to identify their specific needs and goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.

IFHP Coverage

No Fear Counselling is proud to be an approved service provider for individuals covered by IFHP. This means that clients can access our therapy services through their IFHP benefits.

Our therapists are knowledgeable about the IFHP system and can help clients navigate the process of accessing benefits. We believe that all individuals in Canada, regardless of their immigration status, should have access to high-quality mental health services, and we work hard to make sure that our services are accessible and affordable.

If you’re a refugee, asylum seeker, or other individual covered by IFHP, you may be eligible for therapy services. The best way to find out is to contact your IFHP benefits provider directly or speak with one of our therapists. We can help you determine if you’re eligible and guide you through the process of accessing benefits.

The length of therapy can vary depending on the individual and the nature of their mental health challenges. Some people may only need a few sessions, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy. Our therapists work collaboratively with clients to determine the best course of treatment for their needs.
