Aman’s counselling experiences include extensive educational and practical background in the mental health and addictions field. She graduated from City U University with a Master of Counselling Degree in June 2022.
During her program she completed her capstone on the impact of intergenerational trauma within the South Asian community and how to use Narrative Therapy and Yoga strategies to work through the trauma. She has experience working with individuals from all walks of life and would love to walk alongside you in your journey of self-exploration, growth, and healing.
She has always been curious about the connection between human experiences and their impact on a person’s view of themselves and the world. Being a counsellor to Aman is being open and non-judgemental while creating a safe space for her clients to share their stories.
She believes that you need to go through uncomfortable feelings and experiences in order to be comfortable with the life you create for yourself. She has learned throughout life that there is always something you can learn from other people’s experiences and stories. She loves spending time outdoors and going for long walks by the water. She enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time with loved ones.
