Audrey Dsouza, MA/M.Sc, is a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) who provides individual counselling using an attachment focused and trauma-informed lens.
Outside of her extensive education, she has trained in several different therapeutic modalities oriented towards: emotional processing, attachment and communication in relationships, integration of trauma, identity development, and domestic violence issues. Some of these trainings include: EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and trauma informed yoga practices. Currently, Audrey is pursuing a Complex Trauma Certification Training (CCTP) with Dr. Janina Fisher. She draws from all of these approaches to meet the unique needs of her clients. Audrey is a mental health services provider with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) as well as the Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP).
Sometimes, life experiences can be overwhelming and leave us feeling stuck. If this is you, counselling can help! Together, we can begin a journey of self-exploration, healing, and discovery. Audrey’s hope for you is to discover a new way of relating to and experiencing yourself and others.
Outside of work, Audrey enjoys being a mum to her three children, including an adorable, non-human 9-year-old. On weekends, you can find her snuggled in bed reading a good book, gardening, hiking, or out exploring the hills of beautiful British Columbia
