Deborah Buthmann

Deborah is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in British Columbia and holds a Master’ Degree in Clinical Psychology from Humboldt University in Berlin.

She is passionate about helping people feel unstuck and build trusting relationships with themselves through teaching about and exploring the Body and Mind connection.

She is committed to fully understanding clients' anxiety, concerns, and sense of self, witnessing their pain and root cause for struggles more compassionately, and changing their critical inner voice to grow and live a fulfilling life.

Drawing from her experience in cognitive behavioural and somatic therapies, yoga & mindfulness, attachment theory, self-compassion, and Body Brain Healing, she assists in releasing stress and trauma to become more balanced and wholesome in their life.

Deborah holds an innate trust and warmth in her relationship with whomever she works with. She has a relational approach and derives from Internal Family System (IFS) to describe the inner complexity of us, our struggles and brings in knowledge in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Brainspotting and CBT.
