“The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” – Esther Perel.
I guide clients to reflect on the relationship they have with themselves and with others, while prioritizing connection and presence. Being heard and feeling heard can foster intimacy, however it can also feel vulnerable to self-disclose parts of the self which have been masked and hidden away.
A safe, collaborative counselling environment provides you with the opportunity to express yourself, bring forth the forgotten parts of yourself, and confront your fears. As a result, you gain awareness on your own self, values, goals and dreams. You reconnect with your authentic self, and you reclaim your life with a new sense of direction, certainty and purpose.
I have experience in working at addiction treatment centre, therefore am equipped with helping clients to manage substance use issues. Furthermore, I help clients to work through negative emotions around relapse management. Lastly, I guide clients in understanding the origin of their issues, in order to bring about transformative change.
Loving yourself is the first step to loving others. Whether it’s individual or couples therapy, I will work closely with you to address obstacles which perpetuate pain and suffering, and therefore guide you towards healing, growth and fulfilled life.
