Jane Schunke is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #18628). She takes an integrative approach when working with individuals, couples, and children.
Working primarily from a person-centred, existential perspective, Jane provides a safe, empathetic space in which to welcome and explorefully the emotions that we hold within. Through a lens of kindness, compassion, and humour, she is honoured to work collaboratively with you on your path to healing, as you navigate life’s changes together.
As an Australian, North Vancouver has been home now for over 9 years. Jane holds a B.A. in addition to a Bachelor of Education. More recently, she has completed a Masters of Counselling Psychology. WIth a background in education, and as a mother of teenage children, she brings considerable life experience into your sessions together. Jane has completed further training in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP level 1 therapist). She has also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals and couples.
