Leena values human connections and relationships with others but also ourselves. She believes part of our healing journey is strengthening our relationship with who we are and who we want to be. She also believes forgiveness, especially forgiving ourselves, is part of the process.

Leena supports you from a client-led, strengths-based, trauma informed lens. She will work alongside you, at your pace, providing a non-judgemental, safe space. She utilises a range of modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Theory and Acceptance Commitment Theory. 

As your counsellor, she will empower you, draw on your strengths and support you on your journey. She will work with you at your pace, holistically and collaborate with you. She will actively listen to you in sessions, remain curious and identify any commonalities in relation to behaviour and/or thinking patterns. The goal is to support you achieve your goals and shift any roadblocks that may be preventing you from this.

Leena has a master's degree in social work and in law. She has worked as a counsellor for six years at non-profit organisations both internationally and in B.C. She was born and raised in England and started travelling, working, and volunteering overseas ten years ago.
