She has worked both in private practice and with the BC Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse, within individual, couple and group settings. She specializes in Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Relationships, Self Esteem and Self Compassion.

As a therapist, Lucinda takes a person-centered and collaborative approach to creating a safe, compassionate and supportive space, where her clients can feel seen and heard. Her integrative therapeutic technique includes a combination Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Mindfulness practices, where she helps clients navigate their way through presenting challenges for positive and lasting change.

Lucinda’s philosophy around working with her clients is one of collaboration. She works to empower you to lead the session and your own life. Her ability to be present in session and out is key to her success in helping her past and present clients.

Lucinda has extensive experience working with populations such as male survivors of sexual abuse, which included mental health assessments, intake, one on one, and group psychotherapy sessions. She also has experience with developing and presenting workshops and clinics and various different topics.
