Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Adler University in Vancouver

Since a young age, I have always wanted to help others whether it be in seeking resources or in guiding others to feel more motivated, hopeful, and encouraged to take on life’s difficulties and hurdles.

I found this to be my calling later in life and pursued a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Adler University in Vancouver. I have enjoyed studying the many facets of why we are the way we are, and what has brought us to so many unique aspects and paths of life. This knowledge has only acted as a catalyst and enabled and pushed me to truly help others on a deeper level in order to enjoy the journey of life, rather than to view it as a destination. Throughout that journey there is opportunity for growth, and I believe that the adaptability to change is often the key to establishing a fulfilling life. I also deeply believe that holistic healing is the best foundation for lasting change.

My belief is that embracing change, and encouraging and supporting individuals throughout their
life journey and transitions, will help provide insight to how each individual should best live his or her life and aid in the healing process.

Throughout therapy, I maintain a sense of curiosity and provide a safe space, free of judgement for my clients.

While I mainly practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I strive to cater my therapy as best as I see fit for each individual with his or her consent and collaboration throughout therapy. I strive to empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles and to improve their relationships with themselves and with others.
