Raheel Rahman, MA is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). He holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle. He has over a decade of experience working with children and adults.

Raheel has worked as a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician for over four years in a rural and urban community providing mental health services to children and youth suffering from serious emotional, psychological, behavioural and psychiatric illness. He has a great commitment to providing the highest standard of quality care to individuals, families and communities, to contribute positive mental health services that can improve the quality of life of his clients.

He uses his knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions to support children and youth diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). He works closely with children, youth and parents on developing skills of social interaction, self-regulation, emotional expression, and perspective taking.

Raheel has completed trainings in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy, Early Psychosis Intervention, Trauma Informed Approach to Practice and Complex Care Intervention. He has co-facilitated Attention Deficit Hyperactivity (ADHD) groups for parents, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) groups for teens and anxiety groups for children and teens.

Raheel integrates his background to focus on the mind and body connection when working with adults dealing with such issues as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, life stress, and accepting times of change and transition. Raheel has a passion for helping clients and considers it a great honour and privilege when clients share their lives with him and allow him to walk with them on their personal journey.
