Trudy Blair, MA, RCC, holds a Masters (M.Psych) in Counselling Psychology with City University and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (R.C.C) with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors of which she also sits as a chair for her local Region. She specializes in counselling, coaching and health consulting for various health authorities and non-profit organizations.
Her therapeutic style is very eclectic but is grounded from a client-focused lens which draws on various interventions and techniques in order to adapt to the best fit for each client’s unique needs. She often incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioural, Emotion Focused, Mindfulness, Narrative, and Solution Focused therapies.
Over the past several years Trudy has gained considerable experience working with individuals, couples and families to specialize her therapeutic work with those facing challenges such as: anxiety, communication skills, depression, emotional disorders/regulation, grief and loss, interpersonal conflict, major life transitions, relationship conflict, self-esteem/self-confidence, stress, and trauma.
Her intention is to foster an environment in which clients feel comfortable, safe and empowered to address and overcome their struggles and to improve their quality of life. Her goal as a therapist is to provide you with the therapeutic space to walk through this part of your journey.
