Intern Counsellor (RCC Candidate)
Byron is currently completing his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling at Adams State University. He is excited to develop his skillsets while assisting clients at No Fear Counselling.
Byron approaches mental health through a lens of connection and meaning. This process enables clients to explore their lived experiences in a safe and open-minded environment to identify strengths, values, meaning, and areas of improvement to achieve positive change and mental health outcomes. Byron collaborates with the client to help guide each individual through difficult life transitions, times of depression and anxiety, or other crises that arise. This approach also allows clients to feel understanding and support as they challenge self-defeating thoughts, patterns and develop tools and habits to cope with life’s journey.
Byron loves the outdoors, dogs, water, hockey, and poutine.
