Christina sees emotions as an essential part of our biology. They are adaptive, useful sources of information about our needs. However sometimes, making sense of emotions can be really hard, especially when we feel unsafe.
Christina uses evidence-based interventions to help clients identify the core of what’s troubling them. She is responsive and compassionate to the ways that we can feel at war with ourselves.
Experiences of trauma can have a wide range of effects on a person. You may feel chaotic and lost. You may find that you’re unable to feel much at all. Christina can work with you to find a sense of grounding and safety in your body. She will help you develop the skills you need to process what happened in the past so that you can move forward to a better future.
Whether you’re struggling with trauma, relationship struggles, depression/anxiety, or other personal difficulties, Christina can help you identify what you need to live a healthy, fulfilled life, and to take action to achieve that.
