Leah Stewart, MA, RCC, received her Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Victoria and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counselling
Leah believes that counselling needs to be a safe space for people to explore life circumstances, emotions, thoughts and behaviours without worrying about being judged or encountering consequences for speaking openly about their life experiences. In her work, Leah utilizes a client centered and collaborative counselling approach supported by confidentiality, understanding and respect. Her hope is to help people to identify areas of their life that are not working for them or things they would like to change in order to create positive changes towards a more enjoyable life.
Leah specializes in working with youth and adults experiencing mental health concerns and supporting them through trauma, grief and loss. Leah also supports couples and families to help better their communication and address various relationship concerns.
