About Tina

It is common to struggle with challenges and issues that seem difficult to approach. At times, you may feel stuck or hopeless and lack the insight or skills required to deal with the problem. Emotional well-being and mental health influence your general health and how you make decisions, handle stress, and face challenges in your life and in your relationships.

You may be facing a challenge in your personal life, with your child, or with your partner. Whichever is the case, I can support you with my expertise and experience and help you implement positive change in your life. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I provide professional psychotherapy and counselling in a non-judgmental and confidential space that is safe, empathic, and welcoming.

I believe every one of us has a set of strengths, which can lead to positive change and help overcome challenges. I provide individual counselling and family counselling, which may include counselling for yourself, your partner, and your child. My practice is inspired by positive psychology, and I try to see the strengths in people, even in the moments when they can’t see those strengths in themselves. With my empowering and strength-based approach, I have helped many individuals, parents, couples, and families work through some of the hardest chapters of their lives.

Tina also offers couples counselling, and she has particular experience supporting clients through anxiety, panic attacks, and the specific stress that comes with immigration and acculturation, something she understands both professionally and personally. Her approach draws on emotionally focused therapy and CBT to help clients understand what’s driving their patterns, alongside structural family therapy for families who want to rebuild how they communicate and support each other.

Tina sees clients in person at our Langley Meadows location.

Reviews

I recently started my counseling sessions with her, and I am truly satisfied with her approach and understanding. She listens very carefully and genuinely understands the concerns, which makes me feel more comfortable and confident. I sincerely appreciate her support and kindness. Since we’ve just begun, I hope that in the upcoming sessions she will be able to help me even more.
