I have the privilege of supporting individuals from different cultures and backgrounds in their journey of healing and personal growth over the past 10 years. I adhere to a collaborative, nonjudgmental practice that focuses on the needs and goals of each individual. At the heart of my practice is a commitment to honor the wisdom in each individual and their right to seek their own journey of healing and self-discovery.
Besides the holistic perspective I bring to my work, my training in Emotion-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy and Art Therapy has profoundly influenced my work with clients, empowering them to tackle emotional challenges and cultivate healthier relationships. I also offer person-centered therapy, psychodrama, and Internal Family Systems, and I provide individual, couples, family, and youth counselling.
Being an immigrant has helped me bring a unique perspective to my counselling work, enabling me to provide compassionate support to those navigating difficult life transitions, including anxiety, depression and grief. My areas of specialization include narcissism, attachment concerns, inner child work, and emotional regulation. I offer sessions in English, Farsi/Persian and Dari.
I see clients in person on Commercial Drive in Vancouver and at the Quay in North Vancouver, as well as online. A free 15-minute consultation is available if you would like to see whether we are a good fit.
