Jordan has an eclectic therapeutic approach, combining several methods together. He draws inspiration from mindfulness and grounding exercises, incorporating them into his practice. By incorporating dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Jordan strives to help clients in their journeys and personal growth.

Jordan was born in the Lower Mainland and has split time between living in Canada and Taiwan. He has experience working with youth and young adults from all walks of life. In his spare time, Jordan enjoys playing badminton, hiking, and kayaking. He is very excited to meet new clients and help them reach their goals.

Jordan focuses on developing strong relationships with clients to ensure trust and safety in the therapeutic process. Through genuine rapport, he hopes to foster a healing and supportive space to suit clients’ needs. He hopes to complete further training in EMDR (trauma) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy to better support clients. Jordan also looks to further his philosophical understanding of human nature, allowing him to better understand clients.

Jordan’s work has largely been done with youth and young adults, helping them work through life struggles. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience, giving him insight into how the human body naturally reacts to the world. Jordan has discovered the importance of therapeutic interventions and looks forward to helping anyone.

As a practicum student, Jordan offers practicum counselling at a lower cost, alongside children’s counselling, youth counselling, and family counselling, with particular experience supporting clients through anxiety and life transitions.

Jordan sees clients in person at our Burnaby, Solo District, and Burnaby Square locations, as well as through virtual care for clients anywhere in BC.
