She sees herself as a “traveling companion” to her clients who embark on a journey to explore any challenging, worrying, painful, complicated, or traumatic emotional experiences. On this journey together, she helps clients make sense of the past, find peace in the present, and regain a sense of hope for the future.
Olga provides clients with up-to-date and efficient tools and techniques that help generate the positive change they are looking for. In addition, she always comes from a strength-based approach, which means she helps her clients identify and harness strengths and skills they already have to achieve their goals. Finally, she always uses a deeply empathetic, client-centered approach that helps create a non-judgemental, kind, and safe environment that fosters self-awareness, self-compassion, and personal growth.
From Olga:
“Thank you for stopping by. Navigating changes and challenges can be tough. I would be honoured to be your travelling companion in this journey. As we go, I promise to bring along my toolbox of helpful techniques. I promise to keep you safe when the road gets rough. I promise to create a peaceful space for you in any storm. Counselling is a unique journey. For me, it is fuelled by compassion and curiosity. In this human-to-human connection, we find comfort, support, and hope. I specialize in working with trauma, PTSD, and anxiety symptoms in adults and teens.
With a deeply empathetic approach, I help clients cope with emotional pain, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, loss, guilt, shame, and other challenges. I practice from a trauma-informed and strength-based approach. My goal is to support and empower you in this journey of finding peace, renewed hope, and emotional freedom from past or present pain.
We are ALL human. Everyone needs kindness and support. Life has its (un)fair share of challenges, and absolutely NO ONE is immune to difficult feelings. It takes courage to reach out. It is my privilege to accompany you on this healing journey. I feel confident that together we can conquer challenges, restore balance, and find ways to feel whole again.”
Olga offers family counselling, individual counselling, and couples counselling, with particular experience supporting clients through PTSD and complex trauma. Her approach draws on EMDR and Gottman couples therapy, alongside narrative and somatic techniques.
Olga sees clients in person at our Coquitlam Centre, Anson/Westwood location, as well as through virtual care for clients anywhere in BC.
