About Alexandra

Ali recognizes the courage it takes to seek counselling. She is committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences and move toward greater growth, authenticity, and wellbeing.

Ali brings a unique perspective to her counselling practice through her Bachelor of Kinesiology and background working with youth. Her kinesiology training informs her appreciation for the mind-body connection, and she supports clients in developing greater awareness of how physical, emotional, and psychological experiences interact to influence overall wellness.

In her work, Ali draws from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-informed perspectives, and strength-focused therapy. She tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client and provides counselling to individuals, children, and youth.

Ali believes that while we cannot change our past experiences, we can choose how we relate to them and the meaning we carry forward. She believes deeply in each person’s inherent capacity for healing, resilience, and growth when supported in a space of acceptance and understanding. As a counsellor, Ali works alongside clients to uncover their strengths, navigate challenges, and create meaningful and lasting change.
