Jade Piper, counsellor at No Fear Counselling

Jade Piper

Counselling Therapist

Jade practices from a person-centered approach, viewing each client as a whole human being, far more than any diagnosis, struggle, or label, with inherent dignity, strengths, and expertise in their own life. Central to her work is the intentional building of safety and trust within the therapeutic alliance, recognizing that true healing can only unfold when clients feel genuinely secure, respected, and unpressured. Drawing on trauma-informed principles, she prioritizes emotional and relational safety through consistent empathy, genuineness, and collaborative pacing, allowing the therapeutic relationship itself to become a vehicle for sustainable, long-lasting change where clients can gradually lower defenses, explore vulnerabilities, and reconnect with their inner wisdom at their own rhythm.

About Jade

She blends Western evidence-based modalities (talk therapy, CBT-informed techniques, trauma-informed frameworks) with Eastern practices (mindfulness, breathwork, somatic awareness, and principles of interconnectedness), bridging body and mind for a truly holistic approach that honours thoughts, emotions, sensations, and spirit together.

Jade is an approved provider for First Nations Health Authority, Crime Victims Assistance Program, and the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia.

Jade offers individual counselling, youth counselling, and family counselling, with particular experience supporting clients through complex trauma and disordered eating.

Jade sees clients in person at our 6325 Matheson Rd location, as well as through virtual care for clients anywhere in BC.
